Will Kradlak is a renaissance man. If it is creative, he is involved from writing, producing, acting and even doing the tech work. Musically, Will has been playing guitar, fiddle, bass, recorders and harmonicas on stage his whole life and is responsible for most of the Crimson Celts’ original material and arrangements.
Most of Will’s entertainment life has revolved around theatre and the musical stage but has worked in film and TV too. Will made a living in New York City designing lights for opera, musicals and plays, when he wasn’t playing and singing in the Greenwich Village music scene. |
The two words that sum up Will are “Passion and work ethic.” Will worked his way thru graduate school working on oilrigs in Oklahoma as a roughneck. He graduated from Ohio Northern University with a Juris Doctorate in Law. 7 years of practicing law was enough for Will and he moved to Manhattan to start over as a designer and techie. “I am one of the luckiest men in the world. I can make a living doing what makes me happy.”
Will auditioned for Mike who was hiring (Entertainment Director), for a Renn Faire in Pennsylvania. The audition lasted 3 hours and at the end, Will played waltzes, aires and every fiery fiddle piece he could think of making the violin scream up and down the neck. When he gymnastics were over and the violin was silent, Will asked Mike, who just sat there motionless: “So, what do you think?” Mike replied: “You appear familiar with the instrument.” Will got the gig and they have been friends ever since and The Crimson Celts is a product of their collaboration.
Collaborating with Mike is effortless. The ideas and concepts never stop flowing. Expect great things. |
