Will “The Fiddler” Kradlak: In 2004, Will wrote a musical show called “Pyrates, Scoundrels and Rogues.” The show is comprised of a number of theatrical skits, some funny, some satirical and all entertaining. The show injects killer Celtic music between the theatrical vignettes suitable for any Renn Faire, Theatre, Casino, Corporate or College audiences. |
The Theatre, Music & Improv of The Crimson Celts is quite versatile. We can adapt the show for street performances with acoustic accompaniment or theatres with electric sound reinforcement. We often travel bringing our own stage, lighting, dimmers and props at very reasonable prices. Here is a list of only a small sample of “Celties” theatrical bits: |
|
| Wench Trap | Rollicking Renn Faire bit with audience participation. |
| The Cock | Saucy satirical skit dealing with the fundamental differences between husbands and wives. |
| The Chastity Belt | Humorous Madrigalesque story song for 5 voices |
| Cheeses | Brother Cyrus combines his love of cheese with his ecclesiastical vocation in this delightful monologue. |
| Goldihocks And The 2 Bares | Here They Go Again foiling the Bros. Grimm. You won’t believe it. |
| Gypsy Camp | It’s nighttime and a group of traveling troubadour’s camp on the lands of a feudal Duke. The greedy sheriff gets his justice in the end as foretold by the Tarot Cards. |
| The Goliard | A historic re-enactment. Brother Cyrus is in the pub begging for alms for his daily sustenance and confronted by a room full of uncharitable sinners. Br. Cyrus goes into action pulling out the BIG GUNS delivering Edward’s “Sinners In the Hands Of An Angry God” with a comedic twist. |
| Educating Women | a courtly gentleman tangles in a battle of wits with an educated lady, he finds he is “unarmed.” |
| Pyrates Greatest Fear | After years of pirating on the bounding main, two dastardly cutthroats face their greatest fears…. The Wives! |
| Repunzel’s Frog | Fractured fairy tales with The Loudly twist. |
| Robin Hood In Mud Land | Performance improv that must be seen to be believed. A good time. |
| The Magic Bottle | Man walks into a “twilight zone” pub and drinks from a magic bottle. He is doomed. |
| Dueling Bodhrans | A Performance piece where rhythmic drumming supercedes rapiers. Sardonic twist at the end. |
| The Ruined Maid | Thomas Hardy’s lady of the evening humbly brags of her good success with comic overtones. |
