Rob was born and raised in South Williamsport, PA.  Rob earned a degree in Forestry from Penn College of Technology and also acquired a Commercial Driver’s License.  He spent most of his professional life behind the wheel of various commercial vehicles until 2007 when he decided to pursue his love of music more seriously.  Rob received his musical training on-the-job, having played guitar, bass, mandolin and banjo throughout most of his ‘20’s in casual  “Back-Porch settings.

Studying from some of the area’s premier musicians, Rob built a solid foundation of musical skills required to play professionally.  The Entertainment industry is a Performance Based Business.  Rob never makes excuses and is on time ready to work.  He’s a wonderful member of the team you can count upon.

It must have been serendipity that brought Rob and Will “The Fiddler” together at a Bluegrass Charity Event in Williamsport, PA. 

Rob cites Folk and Bluegrass as his main influences; however, Celtic, Blues and Southern Rock genres have also played a key role in his musical development.

Rob also credits two local musicians, Chris Bovard (Blind Chitlin’ Kahunas), and Rod Chubb as his primary inspirations.

Rob’s recreational time is used pursuing his love of MUSIC.  When the “Celties” aren’t playing, Rob is an avid festival and musical event attendee.
